My furnace won't turn on — what should I check first?

Check that the thermostat is set to heat and the breaker hasn't tripped, and make sure the furnace filter isn't clogged. If it still won't fire, give us a call — we'll diagnose it rather than guess.

How long does a furnace last?

Most furnaces run 15–20 years with maintenance. If yours is in that range and needing repairs, it's worth pricing a replacement — we'll show you the numbers both ways.
